Being mindful is that 5%? And so the more you practice it, the better you get at it, and then you can reshape that. 95%. Welcome to my Daily Mindset, where you get an inspirational, educational and motivational message each day to help you live your best life. So I'm continuing my favorite percentages. And today I'm talking about 95 5. And what I mean by this is of what we do during the day is conscious. The other 95 is subconscious, which is crazy when you think about it. So really, only of what you do during the day, you're making decisions on the other 95 are just subconsciously. You're just automatically doing their habits that are instilled in me. So you don't really have to think about it. Driving is a great example. You don't think about driving, you just kind of get in, you know, where you're gong unless you're like, I've never been there. And you have to concentrate on driving. But most of the time you're just going to work or going to the store or whatever you don't think about it. It's like on autopilot. Right. But we live most of our life on autopilot. That's where the whole mindfulness thing comes in, right? Being mindful is that 5%. And so the more you practice it, the better you get at it, and then you can reshape that. 95%. So what happens is, like I said, 95% of what we do is sort of subconsciousness what we do, it's how we're programmed. But a lot of us want to reprogram that. Right. And that's where the mindfulness comes in. So that 5% percent that you are conscious of. If you will make sure that you make it impactful and are trying to change the right things, you start to reshape that 95%. And the next thing you know, life starts getting better because you don't have to start thinking about all of the things that you want to change because you're already starting to do it. And then 95 becomes more of what you want to do instead of what a lot of people talk about is they want to change a lot of things. So with that said, today, if you haven't already, as I always say, do some mindfulness practice. And that doesn't mean you have to go sit in a room. And one it's literally just paying attention on purpose. That's all mindfulness is. So no matter where you are right now, wake your brain up and pay attention to whatever you're doing. If you're sitting at a desk, pay attention to what you're actually doing. If you're driving, pay attention to what you're doing. Obviously, you're listening to this. So pay attention. But that's the thing is just throughout the day, if you can just sort of what I say, wake up your brain and pay attention on purpose. Everything else just sort of gets better. You don't have to do it for hours at a time. That's kind of a difficult task anyway because we think we can pay attention. That's not that hard, but in reality, were hit with so much information these days, paying attention on purpose is a skill, and that's why you have to practice it. That's why it's called mindfulness practice. So today take some time throughout the day. Whenever you think about it, just remind yourself to pay attention to whatever it is if you're talking to somebody. Whatever. Hey, I'm going to pay attention instead of just going into autopilot where you start thinking about what you're going to say next or what's going on later. That's mindfulness. And the better you get it. You're just exercising your brain and you're going to become a better you. Alright. I appreciate you guys.
